ESG & Renewable Energy Photography in Madrid & Spain
TKM Photo provides professional photography and visual documentation services for renewable energy projects, ESG reporting, and sustainability initiatives across Spain and Europe. We document solar PV installations, wind farms, energy storage systems, rooftop solar arrays, and green construction projects, delivering publication-ready images and structured visual assets for corporate sustainability reports, investor presentations, CSRD sustainability reporting, and stakeholder communications.
As the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) drives demand for verified, professional-grade visual evidence, energy companies, developers and ESG teams need photography that meets editorial standards and slots cleanly into a reporting workflow.
Based in Chamberí, Madrid. Available across Spain and Europe.

ESG and Sustainability, Ready for Corporate Reporting
CSR Campaigns and Solar Farms
We document utility-scale solar PV farms, rooftop solar installations, and self-consumption systems at every stage, from construction and commissioning to operational documentation. Our aerial photography capability, using AESA registered drones, captures full site overviews, panel array layouts, and progress documentation that ground-level photography cannot achieve. Deliverables: High-resolution edited images, aerial orthomosaic overviews, construction progress sequences, hero images for corporate communications. Coverage: Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia, Extremadura, Aragón, and across Spain.
Wind Energy Documentation
Wind farms require photography that conveys both the engineering scale and the environmental context of the installation. We document onshore wind projects from ground level and aerial perspectives, capturing turbine construction, blade installations, substation infrastructure, and landscape integration. Deliverables: Aerial and ground-level photography, construction milestone documentation, operational facility imagery, environmental context photography. Applications: Annual reports, investor presentations, project financing documentation, public consultations, media kits.
Annual Reports and ESG Documentation
We produce photography packages specifically structured for ESG and sustainability reports: facility documentation, environmental impact visuals, workforce and safety imagery, and community engagement photography. Deliverables: Curated image sets organised by ESRS reporting categories, high-resolution images with detailed metadata and captions, usage rights documentation for multi-year reporting cycles.
Sustainability Initiative & Construction Documentation Madrid
Renewable energy projects, from solar farm builds to substation installations, benefit from systematic visual records for investor reporting, lender and engineer progress packs, and dispute resolution. We provide scheduled site documentation at defined intervals, creating a time-series photographic record that tracks construction milestones against project timelines. Deliverables: Periodic site photography (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), aerial progress overviews, milestone comparison sets, structured photo reports with dates and GPS metadata.
3D Scanning & Digital Twin for Energy Assets
For energy companies requiring measurement-grade documentation, we combine professional photography with 3D scanning and LiDAR capture to create digital twins of renewable energy facilities, substations, and industrial energy infrastructure. These digital assets support facility management, maintenance planning, and investor-grade technical documentation. Deliverables: 3D point cloud data, interactive virtual tours, as-built documentation, combined photo + scan packages.
Drone & Aerial Documentation for Energy Sites
Large-scale energy sites, solar farms, wind installations, transmission corridors, demand aerial documentation for complete visual coverage. TKM Photo is AESA-registered and certified under the EASA framework for commercial drone operations across the EU, with project specific flight permits, airspace coordination, and regulatory paperwork handled where required. For sites near restricted airspace or military zones, we handle the full CTR clearance process. Deliverables: Aerial photography, orthomosaic maps, thermal imaging overlays, volumetric analysis, progress comparison aerials.
How Does Photography Support Your ESG & CSRD Report?
Professional visual documentation of renewable energy projects serves several business functions at once.
Investor relations and project financing: Institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, and project finance lenders require visual evidence of construction progress, asset condition, and operational performance. Professional photography provides the verified, high-quality visual records that support investment committee decisions and due diligence processes.
CSRD reporting cycles: the EU framework does not ask for photographs, but it does mean the sustainability statement is assured, published and read closely, and most teams want a credible visual record to go with it. Photography that is professionally captured, properly captioned, and organised by reporting category reduces the compliance burden on ESG teams and strengthens the credibility of sustainability disclosures.
Stakeholder and community engagement: Renewable energy projects face public scrutiny during planning and construction phases. Professional documentation of environmental mitigation measures, landscape integration, and community benefits provides the visual assets needed for public consultations, media engagement, and corporate communications.
Asset management and operations: Ongoing photographic documentation creates a visual maintenance record that supports facility management decisions, insurance documentation, and long-term asset valuation.

How Our Madrid ESG Photography & Documentation Process Works
1. Project Brief & Site Assessment
We discuss your documentation requirements, review site conditions, and determine the appropriate approach, photography only, photo + drone, or a combined photo + scan package. For energy sites with restricted access, we confirm safety protocols and any permit requirements (AESA drone authorisation, CTR clearance, site-specific HSE rules) before mobilisation.
2. On-Site Documentation
Our photographer arrives with all necessary equipment and PPE, ready to work within your operational schedule. For solar and wind sites, we coordinate with golden hour lighting conditions to maximise visual impact. For construction progress documentation, we follow a defined shot list to ensure consistency across reporting periods.
3. Processing & Delivery
All images are professionally edited, colour-graded, and delivered in both high-resolution (print/report-ready) and web-optimised formats. For ESG reporting packages, images are captioned, tagged by ESRS category, and delivered with full metadata and usage rights documentation. Standard turnaround is 5 to 10 business days, with the exact delivery date agreed per project. Priority Delivery is available as a paid add on.
4. Ongoing Documentation (Optional)
For construction progress or recurring ESG reporting needs, we offer scheduled documentation contracts, weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly visits with consistent deliverables and reporting formats.

- Crew
- Standard crew is one photographer. A second photographer, a drone pilot or a lighting assistant are added by scope and quoted per line, so you can see what each one costs and decide whether the shoot needs it.
- Booking and rescheduling
- A non refundable booking fee reserves the date and is credited against the final invoice. Rescheduling is free more than 72 hours before the shoot. Weather is never charged: if conditions make the work impossible we move the date at no cost. If we cancel, the booking fee is refunded in full.
- Licensing
- Retail and brand work includes a broad commercial licence in the fee, because those images are made to be published. Industrial and architectural work is quoted with a licence line of its own, since the same photograph can serve an internal report or a global campaign and those are not the same thing. The parameters that set it are the territory, the duration, the media, and whether third parties such as suppliers or architects may use the files.
- Insurance and site access
- We carry 300,000 EUR of civil liability cover and work with our own PPE. Site inductions, safety briefings and access paperwork are handled before the shoot day rather than at the gate.
- Delivery and retouching
- Final delivery runs 5 to 10 days after the shoot, in web and print resolutions. Standard colour and perspective correction is included. Object removal, compositing and other advanced retouching is quoted separately, per image.
- Confidentiality
- We sign your NDA. Where a project is confidential, nothing from it appears in a portfolio, a case study or a social post, and that holds after the work is delivered and paid.
