Monday, June 30th: Some of my all-time favorite photographs have now been added in the coast gallery, including Shoreline Carpet and New Life. Over the course of the last week or so, I've been inspired by the work of two photographers. Paolo DeFaveri continues to impress me with his execution of stitching techniques, so I've started working on some large files to share here soon. Charles Cramer, on the other hand, has reminded me of my passion for more intimate scenes and subjects. When I began making photographs for the sake of artful expression, my natural tendency was toward intimate imagery instead of wide-open vistas. Both can be wonderful, but I'm interested in returning to my first love.
Monday, June 23rd: The first page of the forest gallery has been complete now for some time, but the days around the summer solstice have been more about gathering new imagery than expanding the website. With rain on the way, I'll be getting back to work; plus, I'll have new photos to share.
Tuesday, June 17th: The first few photos in the forest gallery were added this afternoon. At least one of them is brand new to the website, and even more new images are on their way.
Thursday, June 12th: Finally the first page of the glaciers gallery is finished and uploaded for your viewing. I'm hoping to add some opening pages to the other galleries over the coming weeks so check back often.
Wednesday, June 11th: The website here at tkmphoto.com is being revamped one page at a time, but it is certainly a long process. The homepage and index of galleries should give you a taste of the direction things are headed, and the first page of the glaciers gallery is nearly complete. I'll try to start giving more frequent updates on the progress being made with regular posts here on the news page, and I'll share some newly created photos here as well.
