Although Guilherme Paulus had little experience in managing a business primarily in the tourism sector, his passion and a keen eye for detail enabled the venture to start well. CVC offered enticing packages that distinguished them from the rest of their competitors. As a marketing strategy, Paulus pushed for their operation store to be located strategically near a cinema with heavy traffic. CVC continued to create a unique brand for itself and never stopped growing. Today the company has over a hundred stores across the country. Four years after CVC’s launch, Carlos left leaving Paulus behind to operate the business. He did not disappoint seeing that CVC currently accrues over 5 billion dollars per year.

In an effort to pull up young entrepreneurs, just like Carlos did, Guilherme Paulus actively supports the PIET project. The program trains young people with the potential to become serial entrepreneurs to be leaders in the tourism sector. It equips them with hand-outs, networking forums, funding platforms, and other training kits to help create a more informed generation. Paulus also contributes towards the National Project of Professional Initiation in Tourism. The program creates a platform for the youth to participate in numerous welfare activities that would help shape their careers in the tourism industry.

Guilherme Paulus is respected in Brazil mainly because of his efforts towards the betterment of the country. Through his ventures and participation in welfare programs, many Brazilians have benefited. Paulus is indeed an epitome of a hero without a costume.
